Dave Aubrey with 2018 PCCA President Larry Pribyl.

Founded in 1945, the Power & Communication Contractors Association (PCCA) is the national trade association for companies constructing electric power facilities, including transmission and distribution lines and substations and telephone, fiber optic, and cable television systems.

Okay Construction has been affiliated with the PCCA since 1955 and have been heavily involved ever since. They have had employees serve as President of the organization for the years 1975, 1989, 2004, 2005, and most recently, 2019.

On Tuesday, March 12th, Dave Aubrey was officially named President of the PCCA for the 2019-2020 year. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2007.

Aubrey has already made strides as a member of the PCCA. On January 29th of this year, 30 PCCA members flew to Capitol Hill to express some industry concerns with lawmakers. They discussed dig-in reports, exemption from hours-of-service and electronic logging, to name a few.

The PCCA’s mid-year convention will be held in Park City, Utah in July.

Dave Aubrey began his career with Okay Construction Company in May of 1985. Shortly after Okay Construction was merged with Irby Construction Company in 2011, Aubrey was promoted from Foreman to Superintendent. We look forward to all that Aubrey will accomplish during his term. Congrats and good luck!
