HISTORY

WE’RE PROUD OF OUR RICH HISTORY AT IRBY

It’s hard in the business of building electric power infrastructure to have a history deeper than Irby Construction Company. We’ve been building electric power transmission lines as long as anyone. In fact, Irby crews built much of the existing electric grid and broke new ground on many industry firsts. The tradition continues today as we work to expand the grid’s capacity and apply new technologies for the future. Click on the timeline below to explore our proud past year by year.

RESPECT. The last Construction Safety Week tenet centers on respect: for the work, the risks, and each other.High-risk tasks demand more than awareness, they require careful planning, strong controls, and accountability from every person on the job. Safety isn’t static. When conditions shift, the plan should too.Owning that process at every stage is how we build a culture where safety is shared, continuous, and non-negotiable.#IrbyConstruction #AbsolutePerformance #WeAreQuanta #ConstructionSafetyWeek #CSW Quanta Services, Inc. ... A structured approach helps teams evaluate risks and determine how to remove or reduce them through smarter planning and jobsite controls. When hazard recognition becomes real, preventive response and action, we protect our people, our communities, and every phase of the work. 🦺Read more here: www.constructionsafetyweek.com/plan-for-safety-week/safety-week-2026/#IrbyConstruction #AbsolutePerformance #wearequanta #constructionsafetyweek #CSW Quanta Services, Inc. ...
