SHOP SERVICEMAN
Shop Serviceman
A Shop Serviceman at Irby Construction Company shall possess the ability to service and perform minor and routine maintenance on a variety of automotive and mechanical equipment; to assist mechanics in major repair work; and to do related work as required. Will work under the supervision of a mechanic.

MATERIAL SPECIALIST
Material Specialist
This is a field position with the responsibility to manage all aspects of onsite powerline construction materials. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of construction materials needed for all aspects of Distribution Powerline Construction. Qualified individual will also manage and track inventory and receiving for the construction project. Will conduct periodic inspections and audits of distribution construction materials. Will work with and around onsite administration and management. This position will be located in the Pensacola, FL area.

PROJECT EXPEDITOR
Project Expeditor
A Project Expeditor for Irby Construction Company works directly with the General Foreman to ensure jobs are ready to go to construction. The Project Expeditor attends pre-construction meetings to outline any pre-trip work orders when scheduled. They identify any issues on the job and communicates with the General Foreman.

UNIT WRITER
Unit Writer
A Unit Writer for Irby Construction Company works directly with Field Supervision to accurately capture construction activity to ensure correct and timely billing. The Unit Writer compares, interprets, corrects, and codes job documents issued by customers and altered by field personnel for billing purposes. The Unit Writer inventories, and balances material used against material issued statement provided by the customer. Direct communication with the utility on any billing questions regarding billable units.

SHOP MECHANIC
Shop Mechanic
A Shop Mechanic at Irby Construction Company shall possess the ability to operate/drive any truck, including tractor trailers to support all assigned work activity. Employees must have three (3) years of experience. A valid commercial driver’s license is preferred.
Location: Richland, MS area
TRANSMISSION
Journeymen Linemen
Journeymen linemen will be expected to build, maintain, and repair overhead transmission lines using approved standards under the direction of the Crew Foreman. Responsible for safe operation of equipment and operations on digger trucks (line trucks) and bucket trucks in order to construct and maintain electrical systems of de-energized overhead transmission lines.
