Journeyman Lineman – Distribution
Journeymen lineman will be expected to safely perform all associated tasks with the construction and maintenance of all overhead and underground facilities. They must be able to safely troubleshoot and repair all distribution circuits and equipment.
Journeyman Lineman – Transmission
Journeyman lineman will be expected to build, maintain, and repair overhead transmission lines using approved standards under the direction of the Crew Foreman. Responsible for safe operation of equipment and operations on digger trucks (line trucks) and bucket trucks in order to construct and maintain electrical systems of de-energized overhead transmission lines.
Director of Health, Safety and Training
Irby Construction has an opening for a Director of Health, Safety and Training in our Richland, MS office. The Safety Director leads operations in areas of injury prevention, task assessment, communications and regulatory compliance. Develops, implements and manages company safety programs, policies and procedures. Builds support through aligning with operations to develop vision and strategy to enhance injury free environment. Provides leadership and direction to all direct reports. Must have a Minimum of 8 years Utility Safety experience and a CSP certification is preferred.
