The Salt River Agricultural Improvement and Power District (SRP) project is an Arizona state public electric utility serving the Phoenix metropolitan area.
In January 1994, SRP contracted Irby Construction to build 256 miles of 500kV transmission line between Mead and Phoenix, including 956 towers. The project was successfully delivered to SRP in September 1995.

Legend, a division of Irby Construction based in Geismar, Louisiana, recently rolled its mobile kitchen up to Irby HQ in Richland, Mississippi, serving up a lunch that brought a little taste of Louisiana for all:

Irby Construction Company is partnering with the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) on a landmark infrastructure project to raise the transmission lines crossing the St. Johns River at Fulton Cut. This critical upgrade will allow larger vessels to safely access JAXPORT, supporting the continued growth of one of the nation's largest international trade hubs.
We're honored to play a role in delivering the infrastructure that will help power Jacksonville and the region's future.
