Today marks the start of Construction Suicide Prevention Week (CSPW), a cause born from an undeniable and heartbreaking trend: the truly alarming rates of suicide and mental health struggles within our industry.
Chances are that you, or someone you know, has been affected by suicide. In fact, the rate of suicide in construction is about 4 times higher than in the general population (Source: BLS).
Today is also the third annual National CSPW Stand-Down, a moment of remembrance to honor all lives lost to suicide and recommit ourselves to preventing further loss of life. Join us at 1:50 PM CT as we stand together in this fight.
